My Story...

I have always been passionate about health and wellness. From a young age I told people I wanted to ‘heal’ them not really knowing what that meant. An interest turned in to a genuine desire to learn more, a career and then a way of life.

I certainly don’t claim to be able to ‘heal’ anyone still now, but I have seen how lifestyle choices have affected people close to me and I am determined to be the master of my own health and my own life and in some ways even heal my own body. This has been made in to an even stronger vow since having children, not only do I want to be capable, my best self for them and be on this earth as long as possible to be with them, but also to pass on some healthy habits that will improve their lives too.

Growing up my Mum always grew her own veg and cooked meals from scratch daily, so this way of life started at a young age. Another distinct health and wellness role model in my family is my Granny, Swami Satchidananda Ma, Chairman of The British Wheel of Yoga for a time, alongside my Father and consequently siblings being very sporty (and competitive!) But it has not always been straight forward. I have suffered like most from cravings and emotional eating and making poor health choices without even knowing it! The more I learn about how to keep healthy and what lifestyle behaviours affect our overall experience of life, the more I know I need to learn and that I will never learn enough! But balance, good nutrition, relaxation, movement and self care all play an important part in this ‘Lifestyle Medicine Journey’ there is no destination, it is ever moving, ever evolving.

If you are that busy Mama juggling kids, home life, a successful career or business, reaching for coffee in the morning, reaching wine at night and anything else you think you need to get you through the day, I have been you, I know you, I see you and I can tell you from first hand experience it doesn't have to be like that. I know the guilt you feel leaving the kids to work, the guilt you feel leaving work for the kids, the strain on your marriage and the impact on your health. You may be exhausted, overwhelmed and on the verge of burnout and crisis. But you CAN have it all. I promise you.

Training as a Health Coach was natural step for me, but it has also transformed my life in ways I never thought was possible.

My mission is to take all I know and have learnt and to share it with as many people as possible. My life has changed dramatically since putting everything in to practise and I want to help as many families and support as many busy career driven, entrepreneurial mamas as possible, because I’ve been there, I know how difficult life is for ‘that’ Mum and I want to show her that she CAN look good, feel unstoppable, regain that balance and start enjoying the life she deserves.
